Life sure gets hectic! During these times it more often that not requires us to be able to try and balance various commitments, work, daily tasks and navigating the ups and downs of life. This often results in stress, feeling overwhelmed and burnt out depleting our energy, we can begin to start experiencing difficulties in making decisions, negative thought patterns may arise, shallow breathing, brain fog and fatigue.


These challenges create imbalances in both our physical and emotional body. Prioritizing self-care and tuning into our body signals can become more challenging or even neglected, we become disconnected from our bodies and ignore what the body is actually trying to tell us.


Digestive issues and immune function can be compromised. The body's ability to heal and repair tissues is also affected, as resources are allocated to dealing with stress. Often, people are unaware that they are operating in this heightened state of fight or flight, which can manifest in the physical body as dis-ease which can lead to health problems if not addressed.


Emotions (stress, anxiety, fear, lack of self-worth) get trapped in our bodies and eventually lead to physical discomfort. Our bodies are highly intelligent and hold onto these emotions, if left build up over time and create blockages in our energy body. This stagnant energy can be experienced as aches, pains & restrictions in range of movement, affecting our overall health and wellbeing and make us feel like a weight is dragging us down. Holistic therapy is one way of addressing these symptoms.

At present I offer mobile massage, all treatments are carried out in the comfort of your own home. Before your treatment I will carry out a short consultation so I can understand and assess the symptoms you are experiencing, this allows me to tailor the treatment to suit your specific needs and those of your body.


My approach is often guided by intuition, the flow of the treatment is determined by this intuitive connection and responding to your body’s cues in the moment. I will use various techniques during a treatment such as light massage, deep tissue massage, thai stretch, fascia release stretches, trigger point therapy, breathing techniques, energy work, still holds , rocking and vibration.


My aim is to create a safe, supportive and nurturing space that promotes relaxation for both body and mind. When the mind is calm the body can unwind. It is when the body and mind are at rest true healing take place, all healing happens in the present moment!

About me!

I’m Kate and i’m the face behind Bodymind Holistics. I’m a fully certified ​and accredited holistic massage therapist, Yoga practitioner.


I’m deeply passionate about holistic therapies and alternative holistic ​healing. I truly believe in the power they hold in transforming and healing ​the body and mind on a cellular level. Holistic therapies allow us to ​reconnect with our bodies which help us to develop a deeper understanding ​of ourselves. I’m absolutely fascinated by the human body and the innate ​wisdom and power each and everyone one of us holds.


My journey towards discovering holistic practices and alternative healing ​therapies has been an exploration of wisdom, a quest for knowledge, ​continuous education, and a deep passion for exploring the worlds cultures ​and traditions. A lover of travel, adventure and spontaneity, a true ​sagitarrius! I spent several years travelling, I visited china and studied ​Shaolin and other Kung Fu forms as Ive always been drawn to the physical ​and spiritual aspects of these practices, its safe to say that this experiences is ​where my journey to self discovery and holistic practices began. I continued ​to travel South East Asia and ended up living in Australia, I returned back ​to the UK 2 years later.


Guiding and supporting others has always felt like a natural calling for me, an ​empath by nature! I engaged in various voluntary work with local charities, ​offering support to homeless charities and later to street families in India. My ​career started as a mentor/coach in my late 20’s working with young people in ​various supportive capacities. I later went onto study a BA Hons in Youth and ​Community. I started to experience burn out, stress and anxiety from my job and ​felt disconnected from my body and life in general.


Exercise and movement has always been part of my daily routine so I decided to ​study personal training with a view to pursuing this as a career path and to ​strengthen my own practice in the gym. Struggling to navigate how I would ​transition from one career to another, I continued in my job, the burnout was ​real, and I knew that I had to make a meaningful and authentic change for things ​to change.


I had always engaged in body mind practices, my Yoga practice and Qi gong ​practice always brought me back into my body, centred me and gave me clarity ​and focus and so my holistic journey began! Yoga became a way of life, slowly ​understanding how the principles of yoga transcend into daily living and it wasn't ​just about showing up on my mat.







I became drawn to the energy systems ion the body and how connected the body and mind really are my curiosity for hands on healing , ​therapeutic touch and mindful movement led me onto to studying therapeutic and holistic massage and later completed a 500-hour yoga teacher ​training, specialising in Ashtanga and Vinyassa. Intuition led me on to studying various other healing modalities, Reiki, level 1 and 2, Thai table ​stretch, Indian head massage, fascia release and spinal touch therapy





My daily sadhana (practice) includes meditation, pranayama, mantra, exercise and mindful movement. Through my personal experience and learning from ancient Eastern traditions I have gained a deeper awareness and understanding of the profound connection between the body and mind, how to cultivate and manage our own energy systems, gained knowledge and the tools to release blockages and stagnant energy. Im a lover of nature and anything green, I love taking photo’s, listening to music, travel and adventure, definitely a culture vulture! I absolutely love researching and learning, exploring the boundless possibilities of holistic wellbeing!

Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy massage is a therapeutic technique that combines the benefits of massage therapy with the use of essential oils. During an aromatherapy massage, gentle pressure will applied to the body while incorporating the use of specific essential oils that are known for their various healing properties. Essential oils are typically diluted in a carrier oil and then applied to the skin, allowing for both physical and emotional benefits to be experienced. The combination of massage and aromatherapy can help to reduce stress, alleviate muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation, reduce inflammation, nausea, improve sleep, kill bacteria funguses and viruses. How does essential oil work?


As we breathe in, the oils aroma immediately stimulates the central nervous system which triggers an emotional response. The scent molecules in essential oils travel from the olfactory nerves directly to the amygdala, the emotional centre of the brain and stimulates the release of neurotransmitters (serotonin and dopamine) enhancing our mood and promotes relaxation.

Yoga, a Sanskrit term meaning "union," aims to unite the body, mind, soul, and universal consciousness. This ancient practice goes beyond physical postures, serving as an art and science of holistic living. Originating in India, yoga encompasses physical, mental, and spiritual practices passed down through generations.


Whether you are new to yoga have a specific need or injury, you would like to practice with friends or a partner, or you are looking to deepen your existing practice with some personal attention and guidance a one-to-one session is the perfect opportunity to open yourself up to the never-ending journey of yoga.


The initial session we will have a consultation, to discuss your goals, needs, and experience so that I can create a personalized yoga routine specifically for you. Sessions can focus on various aspects such as breathing techniques, meditations, and physical postures for relaxation, you are welcome to ask as many questions as you like to support and deepen your understanding of yoga and so that you are able to establish your own practice comfortably and confidently at home.


All sessions will be conducted in the comfort of your own home, with flexibility for alternative arrangements if needed I’m open to suggestions!
